Case Study 1
Problem
A customer approached Croylek with a significant problem. They had cables abrading on a control cabinet door hinge.
Solution
The conventional solution to the problem was to use a Spirobound type product. However, this was not a satisfactory solution, due to the products’ sharp edges and poor aesthetic appearance. Our team decided that a self closing sleeve was the perfect answer to the clients’ problem.
Result
Our solution provided the customer with high abrasion resistance coupled with a nice, visual finish. The solution allowed for easy removal as well as replacement for maintenance.
Case Study 2
Problem
A client contacted Croylek with a specific demand:
“I need a complex, custom-built gasket, I need it tomorrow and I only need one!”
Solution
This sort of request was once an impossible task for Croylek. However, with our CAD/CAM machineries, the impossible now became possible. We advised the client to send the drawing via email. Once received, the drawing was approved. The custom-built gasket was produced almost immediately and was sent via our next day delivery service.
Result
The client was extremely pleased with the finished product and our ability to deliver on time. We have now been contracted to create specific, bespoke products for this particular client as well as a few others.
Note: Croylek now have five CAD/CAM machines and each has its own unique capability. This allows us to create almost any part from a 2D drawing. We regularly produce specialist parts in large of small quantities, with more basic shapes and pieces ranging in thickness (from 12 micron flexible films to 40mm rigid materials).
