Description
This is a woven heat set Polyester which is then impregnated with a varnish, either glyptal, polyurethane or polyester. This makes it extremely versatile and suitable for a wide range of
applications.
Applications
• Cable insulation
• Conductor wrapping
• Connection wrapping
• Armature protection caps
Properties
• Operating Temperature: 120˚C
• Thermal Class: E
• Polyurethane or polyester can be used to 155˚C
• Dielectric Strength: approx 40 kV/mm
Characteristics
• Highly flexible
• Good thermal properties
• Good electrical properties
Availability
In any width to a minimum of 6mm, in a range of six thicknesses and three varnish finishes, in straight or bias cut.
