  1. PTFE is extremely stable at high temperatures and can be used continuously up to 260°C. It also can perform at cryogenic temperatures and has been used in outer space at temperatures approaching absolute zero. Being virtually inert and possessing unique electrical properties, it is particularly suited for use in demanding wiring applications.
